OIL POLLUTION CLEAN- UP OPERATION

  1. Oil pollution clean-up operation is underway within an area bounded by the following coordinates:-

  1. Lat. 04°49.2' N Long. 099°50.0' E.
  2. Lat. 04°49.2' N Long. 099°54.0' E.
  3. Lat. 04°35.9' N Long. 099°50.0' E.
  4. Lat. 04°35.9' N Long. 099°54.0' E.

Six surface crafts are involved in the clean-up operation.

Vessel M.V. Pedoman will be acting as on scene commander (OSC) for the clean-up operation.
  1. All vessels are requested to keep at least one nautical mile from the operation area and avoid impeding the movement of vessels engaged in the clean-up operation. Aerial and surface dispersant will be carried out continuously.
