OFFSHORE SOIL INVESTIGATION - South China Sea


  1. Mariners are advised that offshore soil investigation works to obtain soil data for the future fixed offshore structure in South China Sea is in progress .
  2. Five sampling and testing boreholes are planned for the programme and may extend to additional optional location at Serudon Alt. The borehole at each location is 100 metres below sea bed.

  3. A dedicated vessel M.V Mariner will be deployed to conduct the testing and sampling works at one location at a time..
