SEMI SUBMERSIBLE TOW - SOUTH CHINA SEA

  1. Mariners are advised that on 15th March 1999 a semi submersible drilling tender 'SEAHAWK' will be towed from LAT. 05° 24.0' N LONG. 105° 20.5' E (Seligi Oilfield) To LAT. 04° 14.0 N LONG. 103° 34.0 E (Kemaman Port Deepwater Anchorage).

    Particulars of tow are as follow:-

    Towing Vessel :MV KUNDASANG (9WRH)

    Towed Unit :SEAHAWK (Non-self propelled rig)

    Tow Line Length :1000 metres.

    Tow Draught :Approx. 10 metres

    Escort Vessel :MV OIL HUSTLER (9WCF3)

  2. Mariners are reminded not to cross in between the towing vessel and the towed unit.
