NOTICE TO MARINERS

Charts Affected : BA 1366 and 3732

Publication Affected: NP 44, NP 79

LIGHT BEACON DESTROYED

  1. Mariners are advised that ‘Peal’ light beacon in position Lat. 05° 22'10.7" N Long. 100° 21'10.21" E has been destroyed due to collision with unknown vessel. The remaining underwater structure of the light beacon has been determined to be dangerous to navigation.

    2. A temporary West Cardinal Mark buoy has been established with the following details :-

    Position : Latitude 05° 22' 11.2" North

    Longitude 100° 21'09.8" East

    Light Characteristic : White Q (9) 15s

    Colour : Yellow/Black/Yellow Bands

  2. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when in the vicinity.
