MASA OIL FIELD - SOUTH CHINA SEA


  1. Mariners are advised that new oil platforms and a Floating Production Storage Offloading (FPSO) terminal have been established as follows:-

    :Platforms

    A. ANDING - Lat. 04 Deg 43.8 min North Long. 104 Deg 53.1 min East (OIL)

    B. MALONG - Lat. 04 Deg 36.4 min North Long. 104 Deg 48.5 min East (OIL)

    C. SOTONG - Lat. 04 Deg 52.7 min North Long. 104 Deg 46.5 min East (OIL)

    Note- Insert symbol for submarine pipelines joining the new platforms and Sotong Oil Colector Platform (Existing) to FPSO PERINTIS.(See attached sheet)

     

    : FPSO

    PERINTIS - Lat. 04 Deg 37.6 min North Long. 104 Deg 48.6 min East

    Note- insert symbol ' ' at the above position for denoting moored storage tanker.

     

    : Tanker Waiting Anchorage

    Within an area bounded/adjoined by the following coordinates -

    A. Lat. 04 Deg 36.8 min North Long. 104 Deg 38.0 min East

    B. Lat. 04 Deg 42.7 min North Long. 104 Deg 43.8 min East

    C. Lat. 04 Deg 39.9 min North Long. 104 Deg 46.8 min East (insert symbol for Pilot Station)

    D. Lat. 04 Deg 34.2 min North Long. 104 Deg 40.7 min East

    Note:- Oil platforms and FPSO are fitted with light flashing White Mo(U) 15 s

     

  2. Mariners are advised to navigate with extreme caution when in the vicinity and 500 metres safety radius have been established at platforms and FPSO area.
