NEW LIGHT BEACON ESTABLISHED -PINANG HARBOUR,NORTH CHANNEL.

  1. Mariners are advised that new light beacon has been established at Pinang harbour, North Channel Entrance.

    2.  

    Name : Wellesley South Beacon.

    Co-ordinate : Lat. 05°25.28 N.

    Long. 100°22.24 E.

    Light Characteristic : FL.W.5s.

    Range : 10 n.m.

    Elevation : 13.35 m.

    Structures : White column on piled platform.

    Remarks : New light beacon established.

     

  2. Mariner are also advised that the existing Wellesley South Beacon has been demolished and is to be removed from affected charts.

Name : Wellesley South Beacon.

Coordinates : Lat 05°25.80 N.

Long 100°22.40 E

Light Characteristic : Fl.WR.5s

Remarks : Light Beacon demolished.
