NEW AND AMENDED EXISTING TRAFFIC SEPARATION SCHEMES.
 

1. These new and amended traffic separation schemes will be implemented at 0000 hours
    UTC on the 1st of December 1998.

2. The IMO Maritime Safety Committee, at 69th session ( 11-20th May 1998 ), adopted in
    accordance with the provisions of resolution A.858(20), the following new and amended
    existing traffic separation schemes and associated routering measures:

3. All positions are based the Revised Kertau Datum.

AT ONE FANTHOM BANK

Description of the traffic separation scheme

a.    A separation zone is bounded by a line connecting the following geographical positions:

     1.     03°00'.7N   100°47'.4E
     2.     02°53'.7N   100°55'.8E
     3.     02°49'.5N   100°59'.5E
     4.     02°43'.9N   101°10'.3E
     5.     02°43'.4N   101°10'.0E
     6.     02°49'.0N   100°59'.5E
     7.     02°53'.4N   100°55'.4E
     8.     03°00'.3N   100°47'.1E
 
b.    A traffic lane for north-west bound traffic is established between the separation zoe and a line
       connecting the following geographical positions :-

c. A traffic lane for south-east bound traffic is established between the separation zone and a line

The area between the landward boundary of the traffic separation scheme amd the Malaysian coast between a line drawn from position ( 24)  02°44'.3N, 101°15'.0E in a direction of 027° to meet the coast and a line drawn from position (26) 02°29'.0N   101°38'.8E in a direction of 034° to meet the Malaysian coast.
 

OFF PORT DICKSON

a.    A precautionary area is established by a line connecting the following geographical positions:-

OFF SULTAN SHOAL LIGHTHOUSE.

Description of the precautionary area.

a.     A precautionary area is established by a line connecting the following geographical positions:-
