Batu Pahat declared
in legal Notification No. 73 of 1953, by
deleting the limits of the said port as defined in the Second
Column of the First Schedule thereto
and substituting the
following limits:

The Sungei Simpang
Kiri from and including the
loading terminal of the Sri Medan
Iron Mine to
its confluence with the Sungei Simpang Kanan,
and the Sungei
Batu Pahat to its mouth
and that part of
the Straits of Malacca contained within
the arc of a
circle of three miles radius with its center located at
Pulau Sialu Lighthouse, and including
all piers, jetties,
landing places and similar works within the limit
above set out, whether within or without the line of
High-Water Mark and (subject to the rights of private
property therein) all portions of the shore or bank
within fifty yards of High Water Mark.” “Kukup

metres of high-water mark subject to any rights of existing
private property.
