Marine Department Of Malaysia already issued blanket approval to certain Recognise Organization to issue Safety Management Certificate, SMC for Malaysian Flag Vessel. Refer to list of Recognized Organisations.

 

The certification consists of two parts:

 

1)    Interim Safety Management Certificate, (Interim SMC)

2)    Safety Management Certificate, SMC .

 

The validity of these certifcates depends on the validity of the  Interim Certificate of Compliance or Certificate of Compliance. However, the validity of the Certificate of Compliance or Certificate of Compliance do not depend on the validity of the Interim Safety Management Certificate or Safety Management Certificate.
